Official Monroe County criminal-record questions belong with the government office that created or keeps the file. Court cases, sheriff reports, city police reports, present custody, and Tennessee criminal histories use different contacts. The routes below identify the proper clerk, Finance counter, jail line, or state agency. This privately operated site cannot retrieve, correct, certify, or file a record.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Monroe County does not publish a conventional sheriff records counter. All Sheriff's Office public-record requests go through Monroe County Department of Finance. Its counter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and closes from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on holidays. Call first because no request form, submission email, fee schedule, or processing time is posted.
